Victory in Missouri

“At its core, HB 1366 boils down to two words: Trust and transparency. The patient-physician relationship and positive health outcomes do not exist without them,” said 50-State Network advocate Joni. In January, Joni testified before the Missouri House of Representatives Committee on Emerging Issues in support of HB 1366. Joni shared her story putting patient safety and transparency at the forefront of decision making. Her voice made a difference: Missouri Governor Nixon signed House Bill 1366 into law!
